Hawaiian Inn Resort – Condo 436
This is an oceanfront studio on the south end of the resort.
This is the balcony view – – Hawaiian Inn has great balconies – this is a big old building with lots of character.
People have visited this resort for years and love coming back time and time again.
This is the old balcony – as you could see – everything was open – you could see right next door.
These are the new balconies – there are walls and gives us a bit more privacy….. these balconies are 15 X 6, so they are very large compared to most other locations.
We did LOTS of work here this past August, this was a really nice thick plush pile carpet when it was installed in 2013.
Sales man said “it would wear like iron” they say that with every carpet purchase….
It was in OK shape – but really felt kind of beat down, I think because it did not hold up well with the salt and sand.. so this passed August we got new carpet in 436, Its a nice flat berber carpet the will wear better in this fast paced beach environment – the only problem was that we had to get all of the work done and guests checked in right as we finished – so I did not get updated pictures…. so please bear with me as I describe the latest updates but show pictures of before the updates — I know you will use your imagination …..
This was our old bedspread that matched with our old carpet – I felt like I was going to my grandmas house – with this pattern… so new comforters – new mattresses – you will find the comforter below on our beds now….
Yep – pictures above is our new comforter… the dark green matched the new carpet – if that helps you visualize what it looks like.
So I had to use the Bed-bath and beyond picture – just trying to get a visual for you !!
This is our room – I gotta say – this was our room BEFORE August – now new mattresses – new comforters , new carpet and we took the teal down off the door. There is a new patio set too…. the patio set on the balcony in this picture is the set we have now.
This is the OLD murphy bed…. we made these into stationary beds and added a new Sealy Posturepedic mattress set, so NO MORE MURPHY BEDS !! These beds will no longer go into the wall – these beds have full sized mattresses and are stationary.
Both beds have been switched over.
Full sized leather sofa in this room.
Full kitchen
Counter with seating for grabbing a bite to eat.
This is the floor plan for this unit.
This was updated in August as well – we now have a 37 in flat screen TV – that just barely fits…. TVs that fill the open space are a good thing…….stereo is now on top of cabinet.
This is the bathroom – its kinda long and narrow so its hard to get a picture of the full room – so we must settle for a view here and a view there.

The beach looks absolutely beautiful, as does the room. I’ve never been to Hawaii but would love to take a trip there at some point. It’s nice to have the option of relaxing on the beach and then switching to relaxing in a comfortable hotel room or condo. After all, vacations are a great time for taking afternoon naps! Thanks for sharing!
